An interesting change is the increase in total MEA employment reporting, i.e., more staff. The median increase in compensation for all MEA staff was 1.84%. Once again, all top ten MEA officers continue to earn more than Governor Snyder (his annual compensation is $159,300, but because of his high net worth he returns all but $1.00). The TOP TEN earners are listed below this report.
There is also an new summary chart of the TOP TEN TOTAL earners going back to 2006, it includes the number of years accumulated. Some data may be skewed by not including years prior to 2006. This is an interesting data point given how many of these salaries have a large impact on pension earnings from both MPSERS and MEA.
If you are an MEA member, you can search these reports by name to see what your UniServe director's compensation - to find your UniServe diretor see this link to the MEA website.
